Bruno Maderna (1920-1973) was an Italian composer of 20th century music. Together by owning Luciano Berio, he founded the Studio di Fonologia Musicale of the RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana) in 1955. One of his best known works was Quadrivium for large orchestra. He as well was the director, mostly in the opera.
